Litigation Paralegal

Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a nationally established litigation practice that is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support complex civil matters in its Southern California office. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment and enjoys hands-on involvement in cases from inception through trial. The position follows a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support litigation matters throughout the full case lifecycle, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial phases.
  • Coordinate with expert witnesses by managing engagement logistics, scheduling, document exchange, and communications.
  • Build and maintain case records, databases, and document repositories to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
  • Prepare and organize trial materials, including notebooks, exhibits, and productions.
  • Assist attorneys with drafting and assembling motions, discovery responses, and supporting exhibits.
  • Process and analyze discovery materials, interrogatory responses, transcripts, and records (e.g., medical, employment, or governmental records).
  • Manage certified transcripts, trial exhibits, and large-scale document productions.
  • Maintain client-facing platforms or extranets used for case updates and information sharing.
  • Enter and track key case data within internal case management systems.
  • Provide litigation support during trials, including travel when required (local and out-of-state).
  • Prepare billable summaries such as medical chronologies and activity reports.
  • Perform additional litigation support tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
  • Background in complex litigation preferred (e.g., toxic tort, asbestos, product liability, or personal injury).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume legal environment.
  • Trial preparation and war-room support experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
  • Willingness and availability to travel for trial support when necessary.

Work Hours

Monday to Friday, during standard business hours.
